A Bold Vision for a Stronger Community

The One Family. Our Future Campaign is a bold and ambitious initiative to transform and expand the vital services provided by Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (JFS), meeting the rapidly growing needs of the South Palm Beach community. With identified needs of at least $25 million, this campaign is a powerful call to action—focused on the nearly 50,000 individuals JFS serves annually—delivering essential support such as food, therapy, financial assistance, and housing stability. 

The moment is urgent. The demand for services is rising dramatically:

• The 85+ senior population is projected to grow by 15% in five years, with over 55% requiring in-home care. 
• Family households in JFS service areas will increase by 30%, with 16% earning less than $30,000. 
• A mental health crisis is escalating. 
• Food insecurity continues to impact thousands of working families. 
• This is a critical inflection point—and JFS is responding with bold action. 

With a 300% surge in demand for therapy and behavioral health support, JFS will hire specialized therapists, enhance training programs, and upgrade therapy spaces with cutting-edge tools.

Addressing the needs of 173,000 food-insecure residents, including 51,000 children, JFS will relocate its food pantry to a larger facility and integrate nutrition education and financial coaching.

With over 1,500 families facing housing instability, the campaign will expand emergency financial assistance and add dedicated housing support staff.

To meet the needs of a rapidly growing senior population, JFS will modernize facilities and expand transportation and wellness programs at the Weisman Delray Community Center.

A strong endowment is essential to ensure JFS can weather economic challenges and maintain high-quality programs for generations to come. A strengthened endowment encourages planned giving and legacy commitments, inviting our community to help preserve and protect the JFS mission long into the future.
