Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services recognizes Carol & Steve Winig as the 2024 Donor of the Month for their generous support of Rales JFS!

Carol discovered Rales JFS upon moving to Palm Beach County 30 years ago. After attending a women’s event hosted by Rales JFS, she was impressed with their mission, and knew that she and Steve wanted to be involved. Both have always shared a passion for helping those in need, particularly children and seniors. Carol noted, “Rales JFS has developed such amazing ways to meet those needs.” Recognizing that the future of Rales JFS relies on the generosity of donors and community partners, they decided to commit to giving a planned gift, acknowledging, “It helps JFS to plan and maintain its future.” Their intention is for Rales JFS to remain the premier community agency, assisting those in need, regardless of age, background or abilities.

Carol and Steve aim to inspire their friends and family to support others, paying forward the blessings they have received. They equate their philanthropic efforts with “feel-good medicine.”  The message they want to share with the community is that knowing the need is constant, it is crucial for everyone to help in some way.
