Judi Donoff
Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services recognizes Judi Donoff as the March 2024 Donor of the Month for her outstanding support of Rales JFS!
Judi’s journey with Rales JFS began when she learned that our programs help people of all ages in our community. From camp scholarships, to feeding seniors, and so much more, Judi was inspired to support the cause. Rales JFS Disability Inclusion Services and the “fabulous” Toby and Leon Cooperman Therapy Center resonates most with Judi.
As a donor, Judi believes that Rales JFS programs must be sustained for years to come, as there will always be someone with needs to fill. Judi made a planned legacy gift because, “We take care of our children and grandchildren for the day we aren’t here, but who is taking care of the needs in our community unless we plan for it? Life has many ups and downs. Arranging a planned gift ensures that should a situation occur in my family or my community, my family and other families can still count on JFS to be there for them.” Judi highlights Rales JFS’ ability to help others once they have passed.
She hopes her gift will have a lasting impact so that no one is denied help from Rales JFS because of a lack of funding. As a philanthropist, Judi Donoff feels that “There is no greater feeling or reward than to know that in my lifetime, and after, I am helping others.” Outside of philanthropy, Judi is passionate about spending time with her family and friends. She believes that we live in a wonderful community. Judi shares that to give back to this community is so rewarding not only to the people we help, but it also gives you a sense of belonging. Some people don’t have family here; the community becomes your family.
