Community Outreach Coordinator

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is seeking a full time Master’s level clinician to work in our community outreach department. This position supports community partnerships with synagogues, schools and community agencies in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach community. Responsibilities include Providing Crisis intervention, Information & Referral services & Case Management Services to synagogues and Day Schools. Providing connections to existing JFS programs and services, providing brief time limited counseling, organizing and facilitating support groups(s), workshops and community education programming as needed. Training staff at synagogues on how to deal with difficult callers and how to refer clients to JFS. Maintaining reporting data per spreadsheets and providing financial assistance and needs assessments.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree with focus on social services, mental health, or related field.
  • Flexibility of schedule--Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekend and evening hours when needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Must be organized, independent, and assertive, with good computer and accounting skills.

    Welcome Home Program Coordinator

    Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently seeking Full-Time Welcome Home Program Coordinator to direct and coordinates a program designed to serve the mental health, socialization and recreational needs of adult persons living with a persistent mental illness and provide a system of support for the family and caregivers of the population. The position will also provide direct clinical services to clients in our counseling department. Clinical services will include individuals of all ages, couples, and families with a broad range of mental health disorders. The position requires the ability to develop bio psychosocial assessments and treatment plans based upon assessment and diagnosis utilizing ICD-10 criteria and psychotherapy.
     
    Required Education and Experience: 
    • Licensed Mental Health Provider.
    • Previous experience working with clients with persistent mental illness.
    • Experience as a therapist providing direct clinical services to individuals, couples and families.
