Welcome Home Program Coordinator

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently seeking full-time Welcome Home Program Coordinator to direct and coordinates a program designed to serve the mental health, socialization and recreational needs of adult persons living with a persistent mental illness and provide a system of support for the family and caregivers of the population. The position will also provide direct clinical services to clients in our counseling department. Clinical services will include individuals of all ages, couples, and families with a broad range of mental health disorders. The position requires the ability to develop bio psychosocial assessments and treatment plans based upon assessment and diagnosis utilizing ICD-10 criteria and psychotherapy.
 
Required Education and Experience: 
  • Licensed Mental Health Provider.
  • Previous experience working with clients with persistent mental illness.
  • Experience as a therapist providing direct clinical services to individuals, couples and families.

    Social Media Marketing Manager

    Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently seeking a full-time Social Media Marketing Manager to create and implement social media marketing programs to build awareness of the organization and its initiatives. Disciplines include social media planning, email marketing, content development, monitoring social media campaigns, project management, and analytical recaps.
     
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Develop and maintain social media content and publishing schedules: includes the drafting of posts, image creation and the utilization of best practices for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others as needed
    • Plan and execute digital marketing components, including email marketing (i.e. Mail Chimp) and social media advertising campaigns
    • Create brief videos for digital marketing use and manage YouTube page.
    • Proficient in the creation and management of social media ads and monitoring of their performance and conversion across all social media campaigns along with generating reports to share with internal stakeholders
    • Keep abreast of trends and best practices in email and social media marketing
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Required Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Multi-Media or Visual Arts
    • Three to five years of experience in the field
    • Facebook Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate, or similar (a plus)

    Domestic Abuse Education and Action Advocate

    Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently seeking a full time Domestic Abuse Education and Action Advocate to address the overwhelming needs of victims of domestic abuse, including teens, providing education, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, financial assistance, management of crisis helpline, information and referrals and partnering with existing community agencies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Create partnerships with community high schools, middle schools and elementary schools creating a presenting age appropriate educational programs and trainings on healthy v/s unhealthy relationships and prevention of teen dating violence.
    • Cultivate community relationships with local organizations, businesses, and domestic violence shelters to partner and present educational and preventative programs.
    • Meet with DV survivors and provide education, crisis counseling and case management.
    • Facilitate financial assistance, emergency food and shelter referrals, and other referrals to services for survivors of domestic abuse.
    Required Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
    • Prefer experience working with survivors of domestic abuse.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Experience working with children and teens.

    Resident Services Coordinator

    Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently seeking full-time Resident Services Coordinator for 2 Senior HUD buildings. Responsibilities include: Assess needs of residents of both buildings; Advocate on behalf the residents; Assist in accessing needed medical, financial, social, psychological and other essential services by identifying and referring to community resources; Serve as a resource for residents on available community-based services; Refer residents to service providers who can meet their needs; Facilitate wellness/educational programs; Empower residents to foster independence; Coordinate services and linkages to community partners and resources and monitor service delivery; Effectively communicate with service providers, building management and family members; Maintain recordkeeping to report outcomes to building management.

    Required Education and Experience:
    • College degree required – Social Work preferred
    • 2 years experience required in working with seniors
    • Familiarity with local resources a plus
    • Must be comfortable using computer for communication and recordkeeping
