The Polo Club of Boca Raton is again excited to support the Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (Rales JFS) with a donation of $11,934.00 to the Jacobson Family Food Pantry this holiday season. “These funds were collected as part of our annual Holiday Yizkor program service when our members honor their deceased family, friends, and neighbors by providing tzedakah in their memory,” explained general manager Lili Hang.
Financial assistance is just one way that Polo Club members support the Food Pantry with financial assistance. Our members also dedicate their time each month to assist with meal packing. The Polo membership takes pride in actively participating in community efforts and providing hands-on support to various organizations.
Our Yizkor program is not the only way our membership reaches out to Rales JFS. “Over the past two decades, the Polo Club has collected thousands of dollars for “Cards for Kids,” an emergency gift card program that helps children with school supplies, camp supplies, and holiday gifts.” Hang continued.
“Supporting our local community is one of the core values of Polo Club membership. We understand that there are unique opportunities to enhance the lives of those in our community, which is why we have recently launched The Polo Club Foundation. Our mission is to improve the lives of community members by providing grants to local 501(c)(3) programs in need of support for education, disaster relief, health, and social services,” explains Gary Heldman, President of the Foundation.
“Our goal is to foster the growth and development of local communities by offering financial support to projects and initiatives that address a wide range of needs, such as education, economics, disaster relief, health, and social services. Through our grant programs, we can help uplift numerous communities, empowering them to create sustainable change and improve the lives of their residents.” “The values and programs at Rales JFS are closely aligned with those of the Polo Club membership. Hang added that the Polo Club membership can always be counted on to support their outstanding work.
The mission of Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services (Rales JFS) is to support anyone in South Palm Beach County who needs help, regardless of age or background. Our comprehensive programs strengthen, protect, and empower, with care and compassion.
