This annual event aims to raise funding for affordable, quality behavioral health services offered through JFS. However, the driving force behind it remains breaking the stigma that continues to surround mental illness. Three members from the community also stood up and shared their personal stories of how mental illness, suicide, and tragedy have touched their lives. They were a profound reminder of why this mission matters. Judi, Donoff, founding co-chair of the Reflections of Hope Luncheon shared, “This luncheon is about showing up for people in our community who are navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and uncertainty-reminding them that they are not alone. JFS is just one call away.” Event Co-chairs, Marla Garchick, along with Ali Benman, Brittany Kohn, Michael Ross, Jonathan Rubin, and Evan Schnurmacher(representing the Sandler Family) added their dedication, passion, and leadership to the event, making it a huge success.

President & CEO, Danielle Hartman said, “At JFS, we serve every stage of life, from the smallest children struggling to make sense of their emotions, to seniors facing isolation, loss, and fear. Mental health does not discriminate against anyone. It touches families, students, parents, grandparents, and friends.”  While the demand for services continues to grow, so does the agency’s commitment to ensuring that no one in the community faces their mental health challenges alone. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, corporate and community partners, and dedicated volunteers, the Reflections of Hope Luncheon continues to expand access to lifesaving counseling, crisis support, and education. JFS encourages anyone seeking help, or wishing to support these vital services, visit ralesjfs.org or call 561‑852‑3333. Together, our community can inspire hope, strengthen resilience, and change lives.
