Mia Benevolenza, MSW
Mia is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, having earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Certificate in Aging from Florida Atlantic University. Mia obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Emory University. She has a post-graduate certificate in cognitive behavioral therapy and is in the process of completing the requirements necessary for licensure. She has experience working with adults and seniors in various health care and community-based settings. Mia has also worked in roles serving children and the special needs population.
Daniela Blaunstain, IMHC
Daniela relocated with her family to Boca Raton from Israel by way of California. She received her Master's Degree in Counseling & Psychology from JFK University in California. Her experience includes providing psychotherapy services in middle schools and community based organizations treating teens, adults, seniors, families and groups. Daniela creates an empathetic and safe therapeutic environment to help clients manage triggered emotions. assist in establishing meaning and provides support for the healing and development process.
Ariella Bloch, LCSW
Ariella was born and raised Boca Raton, Florida, where she sparked her passion for helping others. Ariella is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained a Bachelors of Social Work from Florida State University and a Masters of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Ariella received post-graduate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certification from Florida Atlantic University. Ariella has had the opportunity to work alongside several agencies over the years, gaining experience working with a multitude of populations and mental health diagnoses.
Elizabeth Goldberg, LCSW
Liz received her MSW with a Certificate in Aging from Florida Atlantic University. She has experience working with individuals and groups on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, loss and grief, and adjustment to life transitions.
Cheryl Hallett, LCSW
Cheryl received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Cheryl has vast experience in assisting diverse populations and conditions. Her primary experience has focused on LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care, as well as substance use treatment and bereavement. She believes in the inherent worth and value of every human being and strives to help clients embrace their own truth.
Tulla Katehis, LCSW
Tulla graduated from Adelphi University and is a certified supervisor. Practice of over 24 + years working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, interpersonal issues, self-esteem, family issues etc. Work settings have included private practice and community mental health centers. Tulla is licensed in New York and Florida.
Martin Laser, LCSW
Martin was employed by Miami-Dade County in various Social Service Departments for thirty five years. He provided Mental Health Services to adults, children and families in individual and group settings. He has been licensed by the State of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor since 1984. Mr. Laser has a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago.
Ariel Mantzoor, LCSW
Ariel Mantzoor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Ariel has been working at JFS since 2018, where she has provided various types of mental health services the community. Ariel has a passion for helping others and creating a non-judgmental, safe-space for her clients. She has had several years of experience with various populations, including children, adolescents, couples, families, seniors, caregivers, grievers, and support groups. Ariel has provided therapy to those who have experienced anxiety, depression, complicated grief, self-esteem issues, OCD, ASD, relationship/family issues, life transitions, attachment issues, trauma, end-of-life, and more. She utilizes interventions depending on each client’s personal needs, such as CBT, mindfulness, exposure-response, solution-based, play therapy, and others.
Mindy Myerowitz, MSW
Mindy is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, having earned her Master’s Degree of Social Work at NYU. Mindy has a certificate for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is passionate about working with adolescents and adults. Mindy strives to create a therapy space that is warm, non-judgmental, and trauma informed, as she completes the requirements necessary for licensure. Mindy has experience working at other outpatient mental health facilities and school based settings.
Susan Riskin, LCSW
Susan graduated from Rutgers University. She has over 38 years of experience as a clinical social worker and supervisor in such settings as community mental health agencies, military installations, and previously, in private practice. She is licensed in New Jersey, New York and Florida.
Francine Rubinstein, PsyD.
Francine received her Doctorate in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Her practice, of over 20 years, has included supervision of students and interns, being the director of an outpatient eating disorders program and working in various addiction facilities. Dr. Rubinstein's areas of clinical interest include recovery from trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
David Schlagter, LCSW
David graduated from Syracuse University in 1995 with an MSW. Has 20+ years of experience working with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, S/A, MH, self-esteem, family issues, marital issues, and more.
Jessica Schlossberg, LCSW
Jessica is a licensed clinical social worker with diverse experience in the mental health field. Jessica received her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Central Florida. Jessica has worked at several community mental health agencies and has been working at Jewish Family Services since 2015. Jessica is experienced in working with anxiety, low self-esteem, stress-management, depression and motherhood. Jessica is passionate about helping people move forward.
Samantha Schosheim, LCSW
Samantha graduated from New York University Silver School of Social Work with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has previous work experience providing individual and group therapy to children and adults in a hospital setting, school setting, disability agency, as well as medical clinic. Her most recent role was conducting individual therapy for high-risk elementary school aged children as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act. Her main focus is working with children and families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiance, grief, low self-esteem, and special needs. Her preferred interventions include play therapy, crisis intervention, cognitive- behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy to help clients cope with life stressors.
