Great Golf for a Great Cause – Sold Out!
For the first time ever, JFS’ GREAT GOLF FOR A GREAT CAUSE sold out with a max participation of 144 golfers. Men and women throughout south Palm Beach County had a rewarding day of fun on the course and in the clubhouse while they supported those in need within our community.
The event took place Monday, April 13th at a new location for the tournament, the prestigious St. Andrews County Club. The day began with lunch at 11am followed by golf at 12:30. Cocktails and awards ceremony began around 5 pm which led to a gala buffet dinner.
Grand Benefactors of the event included: Meryl and Ron Gallatin, Shirley and Bart Weisman, and the Harvey & Phyllis Sandler Foundation. An outstanding job was done by our Event Co-chairs Isabel & Arnie Friedman, Roxane & Michael Lipton, Lisa & Robert Marton, and Amy & David Ross and committee members Sheldon Adelman, Stan Barry, Larry Blair, Judi Donoff, Diane Feldman, Allan Hutensky, Jon Kimmel and Wendy Legum. They were all thoroughly committed to the cause, and ensured an extraordinary experience.
A special thank you to the businesses that supported the cause. Our Hole-in-One Luxury Car was provided by Millennium International Motor Cars of Boca Raton; the Hole-in-One $10,000 prize was courtesy of Gutterman’s, Inc., and Sign-a-Rama once again provided the Tournament signage.
