Mental Health First Aid Registration (Virtual Training)
Sometimes, first aid is YOU! Do you know someone who could be experiencing a mental illness or crisis? You can help them.
Mental Health First Aid teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people with the signs and symptoms of a mental illness or in a crisis, and connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social, or self-help care. Anyone can take the eight hour Mental Health First Aid course — first responders, students, teachers, leaders of Faith communities, human resources professionals, and caring citizens.
The training will be facilitated by Jaclyn Tureff, LCSW, JFS Director of Community Outreach.
Dates: March 22, 2021 Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Although the class is FREE, registration is required. To register, please complete the registration form below. For more information, contact: Jaclyn Tureff, LCSW at 561-852-3333 or JaclynT@ralesjfs.org.
