Mental Health First Aid Registration
Someone you know could be experiencing mental illness or a crisis. You can help them by learning Mental Health First Aid, a 5-step action plan that will teach you how to connect someone in crisis with appropriate professional, peer, social or self-help care. Due to popular demand, we have scheduled the 8 hour class to be taught over two days, and it is appropriate for anyone - first responders, students, teachers, clergy, human resource professionals and caring citizens.
The training will be facilitated by Jaclyn Tureff, LCSW, JFS Community Outreach Coordinator and Cindy Wides, Alpert JCFS Director Community Outreach, Mental Health First Aid. There is an $18 fee to cover course materials and reservations are required. Please complete and submit the information below.
