Event Details

Description

Ms. Vargas will bravely share how alcoholism and depression affected her life and why she publicly discusses her struggle with the disease and ongoing recovery. “This powerful event provides hope and inspiration and opens the door to a world of possibilities,” said Abbe Becker, who is chairing the luncheon along with Co-Chairs Lori Gottsegen and Lorraine Udwin. Grand Benefactors of “Reflections of Hope” are Robin & Gary Rubin, and Olivia & Gerald Shapiro.

“The community has provided overwhelming support of our efforts to raise awareness of mental illness which in turn helps us provide much needed services” added Udwin. “Mental illness can affect us all as it doesn’t have socioeconomic or demographic barriers,” said Gottsegen.

Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the JFS Counseling & Mental Health Services, including the Welcome Home Program.

Tickets start at $150 per person or $360 for those who wish to meet Elizabeth Vargas at a VIP pre-luncheon reception. Online ticket sales are currently CLOSED, but you may still make a donation at https://ralesjfs.org/ROH2020_purchase_tickets/
