Rales JFS offers general and pediatric psychiatric evaluations, as well as medication management for children, adolescents and adults. Clients have access to cost-effective, quality psychiatric services with minimal wait time for appointments. Through our partnership with the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine’s residency program, Rales JFS is able to provide psychiatric services for children and adolescents as well.

Psychiatric services include psychiatric consultation and treatment, as well as psychopharmacology and medication management. Our clinicians are experienced in treating, anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Disorder, mood and psychotic disorders.

JFS is happy to announce the onboarding of our two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Vivian Thomas and Margaret Gorelick, who has joined our Psychiatry team in response to our continued community need for Psychiatry.

Vivian Thomas has dual certifications as Medical and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric & Mental Health from the University of North Florida and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Gainesville University. Vivian has been committed to delivering patient-centered, quality care for over a decade. By possessing strong clinical skills heightened by the ability to forge strong relationships with patients and their families, she cares for and acts as an advocate for patients and families in need.

Margaret Gorelick joins us from Stamford Hospital in Connecticut where she diligently served as a psychiatric APRN for 5 years, working on the inpatient psych unit as well as completing psychiatric consults on the medical floor and ER. Prior to Stamford Hospital, Margaret worked as a psychiatric nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital inpatient psych. She has expertise in geriatric psychiatry, as she has worked alongside and collaborated closely with the geriatric team in Stamford. She also has 5 years of med-surg nursing background at Georgetown Hospital in Washington DC.
