In a few weeks, Jews worldwide will come together with their families or congregate at their synagogues to observe Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. For many of us, the high holidays serve as a time of reflection and renewal – an opportunity to take pause amid the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and reevaluate what is genuinely meaningful. It is also a time to think about our Jewish values of social action and community responsibility.
